Plastic foreign bodies in minced beef from Kaufland
The Federal Office for Consumer Protection and Food Safety and Kauflandervice GmbH & Co. KG are currently warning of contaminated minced meat, which was offered by Kaufland in various packaging sizes.
It is the product "K-Purland beef minced meat" in the sizes 300 grams, 500 grams and 1000 grams. The affected articles all have a best before date of July 1st, 2019 and were offered at the Kaufland branches in Bavaria, Baden-Württemberg, Saarland, Hesse and Rhineland Palatinate. The minced beef was produced by the manufacturer Kaufland Fleischwaren Möckmühl.
Please do not consume anymore
For reasons of preventive consumer protection, Kaufland is recalling the product mentioned above. The minced meat may be contaminated with small red plastic foreign bodies and should no longer be consumed for health reasons.
Goods can be handed over to Kaufland.
As Kaufland reports, the minced beef has already been removed from the sale. "Consumers can return the product in any country of purchase against reimbursement of the purchase price, of course also without presenting the receipt," Kaufland writes in a customer information on the company website. Other K-Purland products or consumption data are not affected by the recall. (vb)
